Justice and Rights Institute-Nepal (JuRI-Nepal), in collaboration with the Government of Nepal, Department of Women and Children and UNICEF, conducted a two-day training on ending gender based violence and child marriage during 2016-2017. These training were conducted in 32 places of Doti, Bajhang, Saptari, Dhanusha and Rautahat Districts which have higher record of child marriage .
This booklet has been prepared incorporating the learning from those training with participants’ and trainers’ experience, feeling and opinion. This booklet provides the core values and sharing experiences as well as participant’s real-life stories. This booklet is also expected to facilitate to convey the experiences and lessons from the participants and will play a crucial role in helping concerned agencies and stakeholders reduce gender based violence (GBV) and ending child marriages in the future.
