This knowledge product is prepared under "Hamro Sahakarya" Project which is being implemented by the consortium of JuRI Nepal and FEDO in ten local government units of Sudurpachhim and Karnali Provinces. To address these current challenges on accessing the legal information and justice at community level the project has developed a comprehensive user’s handbook on women human rights and legal issues to create awareness on legal rights and empower individuals to claim these rights. The handbook has a handful of information on human rights, and legal issues more focusing on women rights. It also includes legal process, punishment, legal structure and various forms and formats for claiming the legal remedies.

On the basis of women's human rights and legal awareness, the hand book project has developed the training manual to make training more effective and create uniformity in training delivery for women community leaders. The manual content key deliverable of various issues such as law, human rights, responsibilities of citizens; women human rights, rights guaranteed for women in constitution along with the fundamental rights.
