A 7 day Training of Trainer for women and children workforce of the local government on Prevention of Gender-based violence and Child protection for the first group is accomplished today. The training program was organized by Department of Women and Children in Collaboration with JuRI Nepal and technical support from UNICEF. Same training for the second group of the women and children workforce of the local government is ongoing. JuRI Nepal is facilitating TOT for two groups of the participants of which training for the first group was started from 28 December. The training for second group was started on 31 December. A total of 53 female government employees recently deployed to the local government who look after the issues of women and children are being benefited from the training.
