JuRI-Nepal in partnership with Sancharika Samuha and IHRICON comes up with a new publication – Laigik hinsa piditko nyayma pahuch (Access to justice for the victims of gender based violence). It is a resource manual published in Nepali for the campaigners who are fighting against sexual and gender-based violence. It was formally released by Honorable Prakash Osti, Acting Chair of the National Human Rights Commission of Nepal as well as former Supreme Court justice in an event organized in Kathmandu. This resource manual among others covers the current legislation against gender based violence, investigation procedure, national and international mechanisms fighting against violence and discrimination. Authored by advocate Raju Prasad Chapagain and Dip Magar, i it was edited by Chun Bahadur Gurung and Tanuja Basnet.
