JuRI-Nepal signed an agreement with UNICEF for a project, “Support for Gender Based Violence Prevention and Child Protection Project”. As agreed on, this project will last on 12 June 2017. It was designed to facilitate implementation of UNICEF’s technical assistance to the Government agenciesand community groups engaged in protection of women and children from violence and abuse, including Gender Based Violence (GBV).
It offers necessary technical assistance to the Ministry of Women Children and Social Welfare, Department of Women and Children and Central Child Welfare Board undertaking mapping analysis and drafting strategies for GBV prevention and response.
