JuRI-Nepal submits its observations and suggestions on Local Government Bill to Honorable Rabindra Adhikari, Chairperson of the Development Committee, Legislature-Parliament. JuRI-Nepal calls on the Committee to revise the bill from social justice and human rights perspective including through strengthening the jurisdiction of Local Judicial Committee and inclusion of additional duties and powers of local governments concerning economic, social and cultural rights.
