Handbook on Access to Employment makes public

Bijayanagar Rural Municipality, Kapilvastu under Lumbini Province has released a Handbook on Access to Employment and Agriculture for the Women and Youth. Justice and Rights Institute (JuRI Nepal), Indreni Rural Development Center (IRDC), and the ESCR-Network in Kapilvastu with support from IM Swedish Development Partner made this project possible.

Section 2 of the handbook highlights the legal provisions particularly constitutional clauses about human rights that ensures access to employment and agriculture for dalit and marginalized communities including women and youth. The handbook in chapter 3 analyzes the policies and programme of the federal government, Lumbini Province focusing on program and budget of Bijayanagr RM on youth and women’s participation in plan, programme, and policy making process. The Handbook also analyzes monetary policies in relation to employment and agriculture sector.
