A coronavirus resource booklet covering coronavirus control mechanism, prevention, and protection measures has been released by JuRI Nepal and partners. The resource book sheds light on the government work plan, and directive in coping with coronavirus pandemic.
In the midst of pandemic, people can hardly have access to adequate information about the government’s initiatives in dealing with the crisis. The resource book with four chapters focuses on context, COVID-19 related health services standards, including health service operation guideline, quarantine operation, relief packages government’s approach to address special needs of the persons with disabilities and senior citizens.
Justice and Rights Institute (JuRI) together with ESCR Network with the support from IM Swedish Development Partner has extracted the most important provisions from the directive, and work plans, simplified the language used, and published it in question-answer format.
The partner organizations Jagaran Media Centre and FTG, Kathmandu, SSDC and IRDC, Kapilvastu, SEED, SWAN, Dang and Made-Nepal of Chitwan also joined hands for this activity. The booklet JuRI and partners believe help to timely inform the people specially the most vulnerable section of the society and CSOs representatives.
