Justice and Rights Institute Nepal (JuRI-Nepal), under the ‘Support for GBV Prevention and Child Protection Project’ in partnership with UNICEF-Nepal, invites applications for the following positions:

1. Project Associate (one) – Kathmandu with frequent field visits
Duties and Responsibilities: Under the overall guidance and supervision of the Executive Director of JuRI-Nepal, ensure effective implementation, monitoring, evaluation and reporting of the project; provide support in conducting training and awareness-raising and sensitization initiatives in relation to prevention and response to gender-based violence (GBV) and child protection at local and national levels; coordinate and communicate with partners, stakeholders and communities in the target districts; and assist to develop and strengthen networks at local and national levels.Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Law, Development and/or Gender Studies or any other relevant subjects with minimum three years of working experience in the field of GBV prevention, child protection, and/or implementation of community-based development projects; and excellent coordination and communication skills. Fluency in both written and spoken English and Nepali.

2. Account and Finance Associate (one) -Kathmandu with some field visits
Duties and Responsibilities: Under the overall guidance and supervision of the Finance and Admin Officer of JuRI-Nepal, take responsibility of overall management of financial transaction of the project, including preparing various financial and operational documentssuch as financial statements, spreadsheets, reports and correspondence.

Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance and Accounting with good command over accounting software systems with minimum three years of relevant working experience. Good communication skillsin English and Nepali.

Duration of the contract for both positions is until May, 2017.
