Partnership
JuRI Nepal firmly believes that partnership with organizations working for the same causes help to achieve the goals it envisaged in the strategic plan. Partners are actors, agencies and stakeholders working for the common causes.
At the national level, it has already developed its meaningful partnership with a number of national and international organizations working in the areas of human rights, Gender Equality and Social Inclusion and Social Justice issues. JuRI’s current partners among others include UNFPA, UN Women, Purak Asia and DKA Austria.
At the local level, JuRI has extended its partnership with numerous organizations including Nepal Bar Association and its units. JuRI has a policy to implement its activities in the field in collaboration with local partners in all the provinces.
JuRI is founder and is serving as National Secretariat of Economic, Social and Cultural Rights National Network (ESCR National Network) and Human Rights Defenders Network formed in Lumbini and Madhesh Province. JuRI also collaborating with eight National Human Rights Institutions.
In the previous years, JuRI also partnered with various national and international partners among others include The Asia Foundation, IM Swedish Development Partner, Open Society Policy Center, International Republican Institute (IRI), USAID/Sajhedari, Center for Reproductive Rights (CRR), UNICEF, UNDP, International Commission of Jurists (ICJ), Governance Facility Nepal (a consortium of Switzerland, DFID and Denmark), Advocates Sans Frontiers (ASF), United Mission to Nepal (UMN), FIAN-International and Alliance for Social Dialogue (ASD).
