JuRI Nepal has entered into an agreement with the IM Swedish Development Partner – a Swedish NGO headquartered in Lund, Sweden. It aims at building the capacity of IM’s local partners, including accelerating advocacy at the local and national level towards strengthening protection of economic, social and cultural rights (ESCR) of the marginalized communities. It effects from 25th of May 2016.
A two and half year pilot project ‘Promoting Human Dignity Project’ (PHDP) focuses on economic empowerment and girls’ education in the marginalized communities. It is expected that the partnership will strongly contribute in implementation of JuRI-Nepal’s Strategic Plan 2016-21 that has identified ESCR as one of the priorities for the next five years.
