Justice and Rights Institute- Nepal (JuRI Nepal) was established in 2011 working as a non-profit organization and responds to the existing and emerging human rights, accountability and good governance concerns, upholding the principles of human rights, gender equality, cherishing diversity, advocating zero-tolerance of any violence, discrimination and corruption, works independence of any political influence and corporate interest. It brings together human rights professionals with an extensive experience in human rights, the rule of law, gender, inclusion, disability, and social justice. JuRI-Nepal aims to create a fair, just, and inclusive democratic society where everyone can enjoy their human rights.
JuRI-Nepal in collaboration with Feminist Dalit Organization (FEDO) is implementing a project entitled “Pathways from trauma to empowerment – fostering social norms change through storytelling and collective mobilization (for Province 6 & 7) project” with the support form United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women (UN Women) focusing in ten local units (three LGUs in Kailali, three LGUS in Doti of Sudurpachhim Province and four LGUs in Shurkhet of Karnali Province) including some province and federal level activities.
JuRI -Nepal hereby invites applications for the below mentioned position, from interested professionals.
Position: Admin. cum Project Assistant – 1 (Full Time)
Duty Station: JuRI-Nepal Office, Jwagal Lalitpur with frequent visits to the project locations
Duration: 1 Year
Required qualifications and experience:
- +2 in Management or related field with at least two years related work experience or Bachelor in management or related field with at least one year related work experience in any NGO or development sector organization
- Good computer skill in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, E-mail, Internet with typing skill in Nepali and English both
This position will work with close coordination with Monitoring and Evaluation Coordinator for database management and Admin. and Finance Coordinator for administration, logistic and financial management part and will work with project team to support to implement the project activities.
Monthly Gross Salary: NRs.31,665/- (including all benefits)
